When they look for precise information, they want to read it in their own native language. The global market actually consists of a myriad of small local markets which each their own culture, traditions, and languages. If you are serious about building a strong presence in a particular local market, you should publish your commercial information in their native tongue. On the other hand, English is an excellent catch-all for all the languages you do not publish in. You may still be able to get business from faraway places, from clients who are sufficiently fluent in English to do business in English. The number of people who can do business in English as a second language undoubtedly adds up to the size of a big country.
